Go to guide indexMidna’s helmet is an item that can only be obtained if you have purchased the DLC The Legendary Trials, the first paid downloadable content of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, which is part of the Season Pass.

Once you have the DLC installed, to get Midna’s helmet you can follow the steps of the side mission ‘The treasure of the sunset’, in which you are given a series of clues to find the place, or thanks to our help go directly for it, without having activated the mission. If you do this, opening the chest containing the object will give you the mission completed.

This helmet is the same as the one worn by the iconic Midna in The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, and is found in some ruins in the Temple of the Wise, to the left of the Forest of the Giant. We show you its exact location on the map:

Guides and tutorials are a key element to get all the items available in a title of the magnitude of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. One of the most interesting is the Thunder Helmet, which allows you to have complete immunity to the attack of lightning that can fulminate poor Link instantly. This is a really difficult helmet to obtain, but with this step-by-step guide you can get it so you can enjoy its great features.

The first thing you should know is that there are two fundamental elements that you must fulfill to be able to get the Thunder Helmet in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. The first of them is to have access to the Gerudo citadel, since that’s where you’ll find the coveted item. To do this you will have to outwit the guards at the entrance. After that, you have to overcome the dungeon of The Divine Beast Vah Naboris. And this is where things start to get tedious: you have to complete three quests to get the helmet.

Mount satoly

After activating Eldin’s tower you will have to head towards Goron City, a place located northwest of the tower. Go to the path north of the tower and then follow it in that direction.

Follow the aforementioned path, which will go through a place called the southern mine, and you will be able to reach Goron City (when you get there for the first time you will be able to see your next divine beast: Vah Rudania).

Since it will still be as hot in Goron City as it is in the whole area, the first thing you’ll have to do is go to the clothing store, where you can buy a fireproof outfit consisting of fireproof helmet (2000 rupees), fireproof armor (600 rupees) and fireproof greaves (700 rupees) that provides great protection against fire. You should buy at least one of the three pieces to stop having problems with high temperatures and not spend elixirs, although it would be best to get the piece of the head or legs of the set to combine it with the fireproof armor that you can get in the side quest «Fireproof Mission» of the southern mine.

Guard attire

Once you get to Goron City, you will be able to visit its different locations. However, what concerns us most now is to get the second part of the suit to combat the high temperatures (if you have done what we have indicated in the previous step, you will only have to take the Fireproof Greaves). Once you have them, go talk to Gorobu, chief of the tribe who will start the mission of this race. After this, he will ask you to look for a certain Yunobo in the Northern Mine. To get there, you will have to climb to the top and turn left. On the way, you will find the Himot Shrine.

I plan to make the most of the game and complete it as much as possible (shrines, quests, heroic trials…) But I’m worried about this, because I don’t know if I’ll be able to catch so many kologs.

To adrixvelilla: when you have the trident, you have to go to the waterfall of Xera, at the base you will see a pedestal, you have to climb the waterfall with the zora armor, and throw yourself down it (can be with paravela), and, when you are a few meters from the pedestal, press Y with the trident equipped and, if you do it right, a shrine will emerge.
