A zombie apocalypse is a particular setting in apocalyptic fiction, usually occurring within a science fiction or horror setting. In a zombie apocalypse, there is a massive invasion of zombies, that is, reanimated corpses also known as the walking dead. This uprising, in order to receive the apocalypse treatment, must be global.

Generally the zombies that appear in these situations move slowly, this became popular since it was first used in the movie Night of the Living Dead.[1] Recent movies, however, have included zombies that can move very quickly.[4] The zombies that can move very quickly are also known as the walking dead.[5] The zombies that can move very fast.[6] The zombies that can move very fast are known as the living dead.

This ‘parenthesis’ in the battle for the survival of the protagonists is a success, which also gives background and personality to the story.

A lot of tension in the final stretch of the film, a very appropriate soundtrack, disturbing sound effects and a good ending are details that make Night of the Living Dead an indispensable reference for lovers of the genre.

When playing dead, the toads (for that is how they are scientifically classified) arch their backs and twist their limbs to reveal yellow or orange warning marks on the underside of their legs. They also lie on their backs and display similar markings on their bellies (hence the name fire-bellied toad).
